General booking and transport conditions

Purpose and scope

Moroccan Taxi Driver is a taxi and private transfer service operating in Morocco. These terms and conditions govern all bookings for private transfers, intercity journeys, airport transfers, or excursions made through our website, booking form, WhatsApp, email, or telephone.

By submitting a booking request, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions without reservation. They apply to all journeys, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

The services offered

Our private transportation services include, but are not limited to:

• Airport transfers to and from the main airports in Morocco (Marrakech Menara, Essaouira-Mogador, Agadir Al Massira, Casablanca Mohammed V), with personalized welcome and monitoring of your flight; ;
• Intercity transfers between major cities in Morocco: Marrakech, Essaouira, Agadir, Casablanca, Fez, Rabat, Tangier, Ouarzazate, Merzouga and many other destinations; ;
• Private chauffeur service for your business, tourist or private journeys; ;
• Private day trips or tailor-made excursions.

Each service is a transport private and exclusive : the vehicle is reserved for your group, there is no sharing with other travelers, unless otherwise stated.

Booking and confirmation

To book, simply indicate your departure city, your destination, the date, the desired time and the number of passengers, then provide us with your contact details (name, email, telephone number).

Your booking is only definitively confirmed after written validation from our team (WhatsApp, email, or phone). The confirmation specifies the fixed price of the journey, the pick-up point and time, and, if applicable, your driver's contact information.

We process requests 7 days a week. For airport departures and long journeys, advance booking is recommended to guarantee the availability of the desired vehicle.

Fixed prices and payment

All our journeys are offered at a fixed price confirmed before departure. This price is all inclusive Fuel, tolls, parking fees, insurance and luggage are included. There are no hidden extras.

Unless otherwise stated in the confirmation, payment is made directly to the driver at the beginning or end of the journey, in cash or by credit card, with a clear receipt. Any additional services not included in the booking (extended waiting time, significant detour, extra stop) are subject to prior agreement and a mutually agreed-upon price.

Modification and cancellation

You can edit for free your reservation (time, address, vehicle, number of passengers) or cancel it free of charge Please notify us no later than the day before departure. Any remaining changes will be made subject to vehicle and driver availability.

In the event of late cancellation, failure to show up at the pick-up point or last-minute cancellation, compensation corresponding to a portion of the initially agreed price may be requested, in order to compensate for the trip immobilized for you.

Flight delays are subject to adapted and free conditions, described in article 6.

Airport arrivals and flight tracking

For all our airport transfers, we Let's track your flight in real time. In case of a flight delay, your driver will automatically adjust the pick-up time in the arrivals hall., at no extra cost.

Upon pickup, your driver will meet you at the agreed time with a sign or your name displayed. If there is no reasonable wait time, please contact us immediately at the number provided in your confirmation so we can locate you.

Responsiveness and punctuality

Pick-up will take place at the agreed address (hotel, riad, airport, or home). For hotels and riads: please provide the exact name of the establishment, as some medinas are only accessible on foot. Your driver will contact you, if necessary, to arrange a meeting at the nearest access point.

The stated pick-up time is an estimate and may vary depending on traffic conditions. We make every effort to adhere to the agreed schedule and remain at your disposal should any unforeseen circumstances arise.

Children, baby seats and luggage

Number of passengers: Each booking can include from 1 to 8 passengers depending on the vehicle chosen. Our fleet includes the Mercedes E-Class (up to 3 passengers), the Škoda Kodiaq (up to 4 passengers) and the Mercedes Vito (up to 7 or 8 passengers).

THE Baby seats and booster seats are provided free of charge upon request., provided they are mentioned at the time of booking. In accordance with current regulations, children must be in a restraint system appropriate for their age and size.

The number and size of your luggage must be indicated when booking. Within reason, our vehicles have trunk space suitable for suitcases, strollers, and common travel equipment. A few practical guidelines: please ensure you do not exceed the luggage capacity of your chosen vehicle for your comfort and safety.

Customer obligations

• Provide accurate and complete information when booking (address, times, number of passengers, contact details); ;
• Be punctual at the pick-up point and notify us if you are unable to attend; ;
• Respect the maximum vehicle capacity and the highway code; ;
• Respect the driver, the vehicle and other occupants; any violation may result in the interruption of the journey; ;
• Do not transport illicit, dangerous or prohibited goods; ;
• No smoking on board (the vehicle is non-smoking).

Responsibilities and insurance

Our drivers are professionals approved and insured, Our vehicles are covered by the aforementioned insurance contracts required by Moroccan passenger transport regulations. You are covered for the duration of the journey.

We are responsible for providing transport as per the booking. In the event of a major and unsolvable problem (mechanical incident, exceptional traffic conditions), we undertake to reorganize your journey as quickly as possible, at no extra cost.

You are responsible for your personal belongings and luggage carried on board: we are not responsible for their loss or being left behind, but we will do our best to return any items left behind after the journey when possible.

Force majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for the non-performance or delay in performance of its obligations in the event of force majeure: extreme weather conditions, road or highway closures, natural disasters, pandemics, government decisions, general strikes, or any other unforeseen and insurmountable circumstance. In such cases, the trip will be rescheduled or modified, or any amount paid will be refunded.

Personal data

The data collected during your booking (name, email, phone number, route, date, time, number of passengers) is used solely to manage your booking, organize your transport, and contact you for confirmation. It is only shared with those strictly necessary for this purpose (including your driver) and is never sold or given to third parties for commercial purposes.

You can request access to, rectification or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address mentioned in Article 14.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by Moroccan law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first attempt to reach an amicable solution. If no agreement can be reached, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the Kingdom of Morocco.
